Facts and Figures is sugary, crystalline IDM by way of Swedish electronicians, The Legends.  The nine or so members of the group have refined an album saturated by arpeggiations remniscient of New Order.  But a lot more child-like.   

"Play It For Today" and "Lucky Star" have been issued as singles, and illustrate how catchy these tunes can be without abandoning their gazetronica roots. There's legit bounce and groove to these songs, but more subdued than the standard techno issue.  They claim to be "a hate of dance floors combined with dance music", which is appropriate, as the timing and quickness of dancetronica is present, but the ambition and drive to actually move isn't there.  It's dance music for your ears, not your legs.  Headphones are a more sufficient arena than a nightclub.
