The Beat Tour Preview

The forerunners and founding members of the 2-Tone movement return to play a substantial number of dates up and down the UK over the next couple of months, as they deliver their fusion of ska, punk, pop, soul and reggae, with it’s clear message of real social change and multicultural inclusion from a large back catalogue and new material.

The Beat will be delivering many of their most notable hits such as “Mirror In the Bathroom”, “Can’t Get Used To Losing You”, “Hands Off… She’s Mine” and “Best Friend”, which not only brought success in the UK, but also saw the band conquer America supporting The Clash, The Police, R.E.M., Talking Heads, The Pretenders, and The Specials.

With the current upheavals across the globe and the return of high unemployment and the divide between the ‘have and the have-nots’, the music of The Beat has never been more relevant and shows are guaranteed to see this message still delivered with the same freshness as ever by Ranking Roger, Murphy ‘Ranking’ Junior, Everett Morton, Mikey Billingham, and the rest of the band.
