Aaron Freeman & Mickey Melchiondo, a.k.a. Gene Ween & Dean Ween, a.k.a. Ween, are just a perfect band to catch in the summer. They’ve got the skill and enthusiasm of a jam band (and a jam band’s cult following), but also range wide and far musically, as exemplified on their recent live album, GodWeenSatan Live (QRO review). They traverse seemingly every genre (and make up one or two of their own) for an extended show that’s just right for a summer evening.
