Black Books is a sweet sounding dream pop band out of Austin, Texas that pushes the experimental envelope a bit further than most ambient, gaze-y indie rock without losing that approachable southern charm. I like everthing about this 4 song EP An Introduction To…, so I’ll just shut up and let the music do the talking. Stream all 4 songs below – and give the tracks time to breathe before you "LAME" or "AWESOME" them, because this EP deserves & rewards a certain amount of quiet attention.
Find out more at Black Books’ Facebook & stream more at Bandcamp & say hi on Twitter. You can buy the gorgeous Coke bottle green, translucent vinyl version of the EP An Introduction To… via the Bandcamp site. After streaming these tracks, I had to pick it up for myself – I know you’ll enjoy it too. Cheers!
