Dreampeter is the brainchild collab of two outfits covered in the pages of QRO before, Matt Gilles of Mellows and Peter Wiley of Subvader. There’s a whole lot of dirty, filthy, unspeakable, abhorrent incest in Michigan….in a good way! It’s a tight community of electro musicians, from Kohwi to Chrome Sparks, who are making things happen in Ann Arbor. A lot of teamwork & support — the type of teamwork that can get 50,000 signatures against a Nickleback halftime show, or $60,000 for a crowd-sourced Robocop statue project. Remarkable people, those Michigandians!
Dig on the two tracks below. The single "Mason Jar" clocks in at 3:49, but goes through more changes of mood than a riot cop changing his anti-depressant regimen. The followup remix by fellow Ann Arborati, Lou Breed, takes its time dialing up the weirdness during a ten minute odyssey.
