Gypsy Treasure is straight-up drone, and you know what that means: long ass motherfucking tracks. I couldn’t upload the track I wanted to, "of moorish towns", because it was too large a file. The computer couldn’t handle it. The server was like: OH NO YOU DIDN’T!

No worries, it’s all good on Gypsy TreasuresBuried Goods. The jangly, spangly arabesques unfurl in decorative layers piled one on top of the other, higher and higher, to such dizzying heights that you might forget where the song is going except for the drum circle, world percussion beat that keeps the whole composition uni-directed. "tadpole walks home" is a bit rawer than the other tracks — almost sounds like a live performance, except that "four horseman" is marked as a live performance, so you’d think Gyspy Treasure would mark "tadpole walks home" the same if it was "raw & unplugged".

Plenty for the listener to wrap their head around on this one. Buried Goods was being sold at Not Not Fun Records but I may have heard a rumor that the first run was sold out. Who knows? Check it out, they may have a second run…and you can still get the digital download gratis at Bandcamp.
