Stumbled onto this album Parcels of Marbles from Brooklyn band I’m Turning Into. There are some gems here hidden among the 15 or so tracks of quirky indie rock. Sometimes when you get an album like this you think to yourself ‘more is less’. Kinda wish that the band had pruned this down to a stronger 25 minute EP instead of an uneven 43 minute LP. But, hey, the album is free, so download it and do the picking & choosing yourself.

For streaming purposes, I picked & chose "Warning Signs". It’s got a beautiful, sad chord progression and a nice overall "lilt", plus a few intricate vocal runs that I wouldn’t have thought this band was capable of if I only heard them in their lo fi garage rock mode (so maybe there is a good reason to include all 43 minutes of material). Also included is their relatively long ballad "Axe As A Bull". It’s a nice, noodling number. I was tempted to stream "Michael Jackson Is Dead" to give an idea of their more whimsical side, but I think just mentioning the song title is enough.

Download the album Parcels of Marbles at Bandcamp, hit up their Facebook for links to all their other interwebz jointz, including Twitter, and stream the pair of tracks below. Cheers!
