Lee Bannon, California-based producer, has dropped a conceptual soundtrack to an imaginary movie: Gnarlon Brando’s Midnight Noir. The movie, inasmuch as it’s described in the track titles "Nightshift Part 2", "The Motive Part 1", "The Chase!", and "Crawl To The Car," to name a few, sounds bloody awful. Sort of a 2 Fast 2 Furious for 7-11 employees. But the soundtrack is worth a listen in its own right.

Dreamy, racy, romantic, Rockstar video game-style noir pullulates in the cracks of the sonic asphalt. You don’t need to know what’s going on — it’s probably better you don’t — you just need to vibe on the tension of ink black midnights, ticking clocks, and danger around every corner. Lee Bannon likes the fast-paced thriller ambiance.

Dig on the soundtrack at Bandcamp & say hi on Tumblr & Twitter. Peace!
