Lord Jeff just dropped a sweet single called "Spillwave" that gives the Allman Brothers the lo-fi treatment, with a hint of shoegaze. No word yet on whether the Northampton, MA-based outfit is inaugurating a new genre — we will update you as events unfold.

The artwork at right is the cover of their self-titled CD released on Uncle T’s label Ecstatic Peace. Does Lord Jeff kick it with Coco, or what? Give us the gory details. Does Thurston dye his hair? Does Kim sing in the shower? Does Lee get a little too "touchy, feely" in games of pickup basketball? You get the feeling these dudes are too busy rocking the dirty, neo-jam vibes to notice.

Hit ’em up on the Myspace , at their own site, and on the Twitter. I think a Bandcamp site is in the works (everyone hates using Myspace). Enjoy!
