First heard of Mr. Fish when QRO reviewed School For the Schizophrenic "Crazy Machine". It was a great hip hop record assembled with a producer’s loving touch. All the t’s crossed, all the i’s dotted. Now Mr. Fish is back with the full-length I Know Nothing. The Atlanta-based producer/rapper digs deep into the sonic textures of the South, from jazzy brass to rusty harmonica samples, for a record that was custom-made for laidback summertime jamz.

"We Going Independent" jumps in-and-out into medium-fast tempo rhyming alongside a Latin jazz sort of sample. "L.O.V.E." belongs on the next mixtape you make for your significant other: sweet without being sticky, sentimental without raoming into eyerolling territory — it’s a catchy old school trip. "Switch It" busts out the Delta bluesman in Mr. Fish who wants to rock your motherfucking house down.

Head to the Mr. Fish site for the full scoop, check him on Twitter, and stream the songs below for some real sunny day, blue sky, green grass, blazing BBQ kind of hip hop.
