Kanine Records has you hooked up on Friday night at Northside Festival. It’s a tight showcase front-to-back with QRO favorite Zambri (remember their stellar EP Bang For Changes? The Guardian , Fader , and Spin loved it too) and Dream Diary hitting the stage early; Xray Eyeballs, Pepper Rabbit, and Grooms rocking the middle; and Eternal Summers and Surfer Blood bringing it on home.
Here’s a pic of the Zambri sisters at right, and a little taste of the showcase below with "Carry". The track sports the dense, electronic Baroque-isms of Bear In Heaven (by the way, Jon from BIH lends guest vocal to this track); the icy, aethereal choruses of Oh No Ono; and the clean pop structures of Hooray For Earth.
Plus, have a listen to one of my favorite Surfer Blood tracks off Astrocoast, "Catholic Pagans." Don’t miss this show!
