Treasure of Grundo – “Dysantzu Yles”

QRO has made stabs at covering the Dutch music scene in festivals like Le Guess Who? (QRO recap) and Cross Linx (QRO recap), and now makes one more in the new single by Treasure of Grundo, “Dýsantzú Yles“.  Admittedly to American ears that sounds like something from Game of Thrones or Middle Earth, but it’s actually a track from a synth band (which was admittedly mixed in Iceland, where the north-of-The Wall scenes from GoT are filmed…) on Dutch label Geertrudia.  Dark and somber like the cover art, but getting bigger and more electric in its close, it is the final piece on eight-song Dýsantzú EP.
