Twin Peaks : Lookout LowThe seventies have long had a bad reputation in the States (and elsewhere), of Watergate and oil crisis, hijackings and ugly clothes. But they also have a fun reputation, Dazed and Confused good times. Channeling those good times is Twin Peaks on their latest, Lookout Low.

The relaxed good times of the seventies is all over Lookout Low, from the country twang of opener “Casey’s Grove” onward. Times may never have been sweeter on “Dance Through It”, while “Better Than Stoned” brings the love. There are the big calls to fun like “Ferry Song” and “Oh Mama”.

Everything old is new again these days (just look at Twin Peaks’ name…), and fun is the preserve of no decade. So Lookout Low for the high times.
