A 100 gecs concert is like no other concert experience. The St. Louis hyper-pop duo of Laura Les and Dylan Brady brought their mix of styles and influences to Fort Lauderdale’s Revolution Live on Saturday night, November 7th, as part of their ‘10,000 gecs’ world tour.

Dylan Brady

On stage Les and Brady are a mix of genres including hip-hop, punk, and metal riffs, at times rapping or yelling over heavy beats and dubstep drops. Opening the show, the duo was adorned in what can only be described as wizard costumes, the audience themselves were dressed in similar outfits. On stage, Les moves with a frenetic pace around the stage seemingly bouncing off the walls and props, all the while flawlessly rapping and singing over Brady’s magnificent beats.

Laura Les

100 gecs brings energy, raw, and unbridled energy, to the stage with them and they give every ounce of it away to the crowd. The music while unrefined is intense and electric, adding to the sense of an amped-up show. When this show comes to town, run, quickly to the venue and check them out, for it has to be seen to be believed.
