Billy Talent took the stage on Friday night, April 29th, with Anti-Flag and NOBRO on their spring tour, at Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This was their first date of a two-night run in the city and was fully packed, sold-out show. Folks came out, even though this was supposed to happen back in February, but got pushed back due to COVID restrictions.

NOBRO

NOBRO is a group that always puts on a great show, a full female band that knows how to rock. They do have a couple headline shows in June in Ontario, totally recommend checking out if you’re in Ottawa greater area.

Anti-Flag

The highly recommended Anti-Flag were indeed great live, knowing how to put on a set for sure. The mosh pit was nuts, everyone was going hard on Anti-Flag’s set. Can’t wait to see them again.

Billy Talent finally hit the stage at 9:45pm, and of course played old and new songs, the crowd enjoying every one. Everyone was dancing. Hearing Billy Talent play “Viking Death March”, “Rusted From the Rain”, “Devil On My Shoulder” and more, your correspondent’s high school version came out. Even fans were singing to the new songs, which were great. Can’t wait for the return back!
