Punk icon Bob Mould has never been one to shy away from bad side of today, and he’s hitting it full-on in his great new single, “American Crisis”, off of his new Blue Hearts, coming out September 25th. Pretty much spot-on before corona and the current protests (coming out of the events in his musical hometown of Minneapolis), Mould – along with bassist Jason Narducy (QRO interview) and drummer Jon Wurster – is as fiery as ever, even comparing today’s homegrown crisis to those of his eighties Hüsker Dü youth.
From today through June 7, all of the proceeds from “American Crisis” will benefit OutFront Minnesota and Black Visions Collective.
