Oh what a great line-up: Twin Peaks, Portugal. The Man and Cage the Elephant!
QRO caught the show at McMenamins Historic Edgefield Concerts on the Lawn Saturday June 18th, 2016, and the Portland date was like going to a well-organized mini festival!
All three bands have their unique sound and energy that work beautifully together. The youthful Twin Peaks opened the show with their unique style of garage-band antics mixed with heartfelt harmonies, southern rock, and just all out good-times playing new songs from Down In Heaven to a receptive, screaming crowd, opening for Portugal. The Man and Cage the Elephant.
Hometown favorites, Portugal. The Man, also known as The Lords of ‘Portland’, brought their entourage of entertainment with their own master of ceremonies and a backdrop of a burning car for their set. Headliners in their own right, they shared new songs with the Portland crowd who clapped and danced with exuberance.

As the sun began to set, Cage the Elephant took to the stage and the crowd went wild. True performers, the sheer stage presence of the entire band and light show was phenomenal!
Cage the Elephant played for two hours with incredible energy and stamina sharing songs from their new album, Tell Me I’m Pretty, covers and plenty of older crowd favorites.
Fans cheered and danced into the night with them. The buzz of the crowd leaving the show was palpable. This is definitely a show to make this summer. Hands down one of this reviewer’s favorite line-ups ever!
