Gavin Thorpe : Live
Gavin Thorpe

January 13th to 15th, a three-day acoustic festival of local talent raised money for the local children’s hospital.  The event took place in the stunning St. George’s Hall in Bristol, with it’s own impressive gardens.

Saturday night saw Gavin Thorpe armed with his acoustic deliver a passionate mix of mainly love songs from his 2009 album Pictures and the 2011 Rollin On.

Thorpe held an attentive audience who held on to every note and vocal as Gavin’s face contorted as the emotions came through.  In between the set Gavin chatted at ease and dedicated songs to his new son and the protesters who had been camping for months in front of the local council offices.

It’s been a long old journey for Gavin Thorpe from an eighteen-year-old fronting a band, but as an artist in his own right, he appears to have found Gavin Thorpehis place.
