Jackson Browne : Live

Upon arrival after the eleventh minute, the environment felt very relaxed when Jackson Browne played New York’s Beacon Theatre (QRO venue review) on Saturday, July 30th. People were intensely listening as Browne performed, but they were excited. The energy he brought to the Beacon theatre sparked the memory of a wholesome family trip- that good feeling.

While he was very comforting on the guitar, his voice was powerful and commanding on the piano. There was a moment when the audience shouted their favorite songs in between sets, but Browne kept his cool amongst the crowd noise. He recalled a time where he played without a set list, and occasionally took requests during his performance.

Browne excelled in variety with thought provoking tunes such as “These Days” and “A Human Touch”. In addition to those two, he brought the familiarity towards the end with hits like “Take It Easy” and “Stay”.

Overall, it definitely was an enjoyable experience for a Saturday night.
