Straight outta Italy (at least the 12" split anyway) comes a collaborative release from a pair of Texas outfits, John Wesley Coleman III and Followed By Static. Two psych-soaked, art-garage ensembles duke it out, head to head, EP to EP, in the name of rock n roll. JWC III’s EP Personality Pancake heads up the first side — Followed By Static’s EP Bacon Bear heads up the second side. The 12" is being put out by Way Out There Records, which, hailing from another continent, is definitely way the hell out there.
This is probably one of the coolest splits I’ve seen lately. Limited to 500 copies, with the first 150 on dirty white wax (I’m a total sucker for these things lately). And it better be cool — the shipping & handling is going to cost more than the album itself, if you’re un Americano trying to get your hands on this record.
