After a semi-traumatic kerfuffle with the printing press, the Chicago-based girl/girl duo Architecture finally has the sweet, sweet full-length vinyl press it deserves for its glistening, glittering dream-pop debut When We Were Young (pictured at right). Expect crisp beats set to a Siren song chorus, medieval lais-vibe, backed by tambourines and an indie golden age (read: 90s) guitar sensibility.

We’ve covered "I’m With You" before in the pages of MMM-MMMP3s because we have a sweet spot for Speak ‘N’ Spell. Architecture hooked us again with the elusive track "Paper To Ashes" which starts out with some glockenspiel cute-core, Joanna Newsom-esque vocal canoodling, before blossoming into a full fledged indie-tronic anthem.

Burn the paper to ashes this Cinco de Mayo with too many shots of tequila and a chaser of Architecture at Pancho’s. Quiet Hooves is headlining, along with fellow Athenians Bubbly Mommy Gun; QRO faves Many Mansions are on the bill; and local badasses Nude Sunrise finish it out. All that for $5 and a bag of chips. Rep-ray-sahnt and RSVP h’yah!

Go hear more before the show at their site and stalk ’em on Twitter and Facebook!
