Been keeping my eye on Atlanta for the past year or so, tons of excellent bands like New Animal — you can add deadCAT to the pile. Hard-driving, eclectic electro pop noise freakout music. Definitely not the soundtrack for relaxing. deadCAT’s latest album EatSOME kind of reminds me of Beck’s Telepathetic Stereo Soul Manure (or whatever the hell that brilliant & relentlessly weird album was called) in a post-AnCo universe.
