Guards - Resolution of One

"Resolution of One" by Guards basically screams ugly break-up, from the lyrics, the angry drums, to Richie Follin’s voice going from soft and meloncholic to loud and angry.  The resentment and sorrow is heard through every crevasse of Follin’s unique voice. Starting off with lyrics such as, "swimming in a sea of catastrophe" over soft electric guitar riffs and drums then buliding up to a sound full of loud, heavy drums topped with powerful yet sorrow vocals.  "Resolution of One" is a cool, wear your heart on your sleeve type of track that will have you jamming in your car even if you haven’t just gone through a break up.  Their whole EP: Guards is definately worth putting in your ipod.
