Kiana Lede – “Dear Mr. President”

Kiana Lede has done a remake of P!nk’s 2006 hit “Dear Mr. President”; this is more than just a protest song to Lede. “Through all the crying and pleading, all the protesting and donating, I wanted to do something that is therapeutic for me–singing. I came across the song “Dear Mr. President” by P!nk and realized so many of the lyrics are still relevant today,” she announced through her publicist. The track is indeed still timely, witnessed by the chorus “How do you sleep while the rest of us cry / How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye / How do you walk with your head held high?” Enough said.
