Music From Upper Egypt

I visited Egypt last year with a friend. We hit Cairo for the Pyramids, Luxor for the Valley of the Kings, and then headed further south for some adventures in Upper Egypt. We parted ways at Aswan, where he found some "Nubian Music", and later sent me the CD. It was a mixed bag, but I really like these solo stringed-instrument jams. Clean, deep, impressive soul.
