QRO has had its eyes and ears on the Dublin-based outfit Sacred Animals for a while now, waiting for the right time to drop a post, and what better time than right before their show this Friday with QRO fave Kohwi ? Give the track below a spin and if you find yourself in Dublin head over to The Workmans Club for some jamz.

The music of the Sacred Animals crafts icy, diamond-cut pop ballads that inhabit spacey spheres of reflective precision. The 4-track EP Welcome Home sustains a sense of quiet isolation, notwithstanding the tambourine-led breakdown in "Wired, Islands". The track below, "Still Removed", showcases light lines of synths and vocals expressed with stark, unforgettable beauty.

Rumor has it that some remixes are in the works: if you follow Kohwi and Sacred Animals on Twitter, chances are you’ll be the first to know when the remix drops. Go stalk Sacred Animals at all the usual interwebz haunts, including Facebook, Myspace, and Bandcamp. Enjoy!
