SARALEE – “no we didn’t know” (Demo)

Here’s a band name with zero future prospects. Huge corporations with fleets of lawyers don’t have much of a sense of humor when it comes to sharing naming rights. But snack cakes aside, SARALEE the band has got a tasty treat with their new demo. It reminds me of a cross between two of my favorite acts: Girlfriends and You Can Be A Wesley (in fact, some similarities are uncanny…). Pitch perfect indie vocals, reverbed garage rock sensibility, and a no-nonsense ear for pop melody. Try a bite at their Bandcamp where you can download the whole tamale gratis.
