Whatever happened to hyphy? That shit was so hot for a while, then you started to not hear much about it. If anyone can bring back the hyphy, though, it’s the Portland-based Wampire, my total jam lately. A seductive mix of electronic and live instruments wrapped up into go-for-the-gullet indie pop numbers. Get hyphy with "Hyphy Shred" and dig on the legacy of electronic music with the Kraftwerk cover "Das Modell".
