Wampire hails from the one-and-only Portland, OR (put a bird on it!), and serves up elegant electro numbers that trade between trance-y dance-y ditties and space-bound balladering. You could see them sharing a bill with Peter, Bjorn & John. The pop sensibility mingles with a hazy ambience, plus the occasional glitch texture like you’ll hear on the track below, "i luv u", a short, sweet riff that dresses up an old sentiment in fancy new techno duds.

Danceable, hummable, a little bit sinister, rife with angular 21st century drama: Wampire put’s birds on things in a big way. Go put a bird on their Facebook and Twitter!

Supposedly their whole full length self-titled LP is available for free download at High Score and Records . I couldn’t find it, but I know Wampire dropped this link for some audio goodies: it looks like a full album, so I’m going to go ahead and assume it’s the full length LP.
