September 16th-20th, Portland, Oregon held Music Fest NW 2009 at venues across the city. There were too many long lines, too much running around, and some tight photo rules, but it was a great way to spend five night, soaking up as much music as you could:
|Day 5 wrapped up with Modest Mouse frontman, Isaac Brock’s Glacial Pace Showcase at The Crystal Ballroom.
|Day Four of Music Fest NW was focused mostly on the youngsters – though one finely-aged vet closed out the night.
|Music Fest NW’s Day Three saw a youngster-friendly early evening show & the reunion of pioneers later on at night.
|Music Fest NW fully got into gear on Day Two, highlighted by wild tech & dour Scots.
|Music Fest NW 2009 kicked off the first of five days of music in downtown Portland with a special opening night party.
