Last January when most of us were still sorting through the aftermath of the year end "Best Of…" lists, the Atlanta-based duo New Animal quietly released what is arguably a contender for this year’s "Best Of…" with their remarkable self-titled LP. At 15-songs long, it was an ambitious release that most bands would have probably dribbled out over the course of a few EPs.
Now, on top of the self-titled LP, New Animal has unveiled a 4-song EP titled Up that explores the band’s more electronic edge with machine beats, synth loops, and dreamy soundscapes.
