While the rest of America freezes under the December chill, Miami Beach is still hot, hot, hot, and welcomes the North Beach Music Festival at the North Beach Bandshell & Park, Friday & Saturday, December 10th & 11th:

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Catch the Baltimore funk of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong (QRO photos at a festival), road warriors who do something like 200 shows a year, as they come to North Beach (QRO photos at 2021 festival), behind last year’s Presto.

The Motet, 6:45 PM – 8:00 PM

The sprawling Motet (QRO photos at a festival) crisscrosses genres as they crisscross the country (QRO photos at a festival), behind 2019’s Death Or Devotion. And for North Beach, they’ll feature Jennifer Hartswick, Shira Elias & Jason Hamm.

To close out North Beach ’21, the festival welcomes two special sets from Arizona jam rock greats Spafford. First, there is an ‘All Improv’ performance, so who knows what will happen. Then comes ‘Spafford & Friends’, with fellow North Beach performers Eric Krasno & Marco Benevento, Nate Werth, Alric ‘AC’ Carter, and Brandon ‘Taz’ Niederauer.
