Iggy Azalea : Live

Iggy AzaleaNew York City has a way of making musicians feel welcome and Iggy Azalea’s stop at Irving Plaza (QRO venue review) was no exception. On Cinco de Mayo Monday, the Australian pop star dazzled New Yorkers with her bravado and dance moves. What blew the crowd away the most was the careless yet synchronized moves of her backup dancers, all of whom stood out with their sexiness and energy. Normally with a show like this artists will feel a need to prove themselves, but one could tell that being on stage is what made Azalea feel whole, and that exhuming confidence the way she did was second nature to her. The smile on her face was massive when she took in the response to “Bounce”, which caused the crowd to only dance harder and faster as the set progressed. The show was hosted by Monster Energy Drink.
