The Foreign Resort : Live

On Saturday night, April 13th, Copenhagen’s The Foreign Resort played Mercury Lounge (QRO venue review) in New York as part of the goth/industrial Red Party.

The Foreign Resort played many different songs off of their three albums, New Frontiers, Scattered and Buried, and Outnumbered. As watching the band play I found the sound to be hard driven post punk, yet something new with guitars and drums and energy into their set for the night. The atmosphere was driven into the crowd, playing song after song with affective sound on tones and styles of abstracted pieces, complex in their instruments, moving around the stage in different band formations. If you get a chance to see them in your city please support this very talented band, The Foreign Resort.
