Sundowner – “Cemetery West”

Chicago’s Chris McCaughan got notice earlier in this century/millennium as guitarist & co-frontman for The Lawrence Arms, but found himself with some solo material that was too good for b-sides.  So did the ‘solo side-project’ thing as Sundowner, and out came Neon Fiction.  Check out the lead-off track from the album, “Cemetery West”, with its evocative yet understated appeal.
