Last year, South-by-Southwest shrunk, with less sponsors, fewer big acts, storm cancellations even lacking Uber & Lyft. But 2018 was a major bounce-back, the festival sorting itself out in this new world, not relying on giant artists or corporations, but spreading out the love. It may have been bracketed by Austin explosions & White House firings before & after, but it was still a stand-out year..
