The sublime harmonies and breezy indie pop with few surprises make Track A Tiger’s debut an audio picnic.   Both quick-paced and downtempo, We Moved Like Ghosts is a country/brit-pop crossover of dark serenades, smooth shuffles, and seemingly cosmic melodies.  The album strips away gluttony for relaxation, and blends a variety of acoustic and electric ingredients at different speeds in a hearty meal.

We Moved Like Ghosts swoons with delicacy not often found in the shoegaze world.  It’s probably because it supercedes shoegaze for a pop vibe, without sacrificing authenticity of either.  The opening track, "Saint About To Fall", is a calm ballad that slips into the more upbeat rocker, "Don’t Make A Weapon".  "All These Accidents" hops around a skipping snare beat, while "I Speak To You With A Single Heart" is a backlit acoustic sonata.  The album is a mellow indie pop showcase, just not quite in the showcase showdown.

Track A Tiger have created something truly charming in We Moved Like Ghosts.  It maintains its strong theme of mellow pop throughout and varies along that with nifty skill.  It’s almost healing.  It’s definitely good for anyone with high blood pressure, anyway.
