Wild Moccasins – “Gag Reflections”

QRO first met Wild Moccasins way back at South-by-Southwest 2009 (QRO recap), as they were friends with a QRO favorite playing the festival (who unfortunately are no longer around).  The infectious indie-dance from the Houston outfit kept on being interesting live (QRO live review) and on record, in 2010’s Skins Collision Past (QRO review).  For this most recent SXSW (QRO recap), QRO caught them in their own right rockin’ what otherwise would have been a sleepy official showcase (QRO photos).  Was also handed a copy of their new single, “Gag Reflections” on New West Records, which, along with b-side cover of The B-52s’ “Summer of Love”, keeps the dance going.
